Former All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretary, Hon. Dare, has declared his support for the 2027 governorship ambition of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, saying he would rather invest his energy in productive ventures than continue with efforts that have yielded little or no result.
Speaking during a programme on Solution FM Radio, Hon. Dare also described Senator Sarafadeen Alli as a betrayal, while explaining his political position ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
According to him, his political roots are firmly connected to the administration and political legacy of the late former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
“I am a product of Ajimobi, and I will support Ajimobi products like Bimbo Adekanmbi in the 2027 governorship election,” he said.
He further stated:
«“I would rather use cassava to produce garri and cassava flour than continue sweeping without success.”»
Hon. Dare’s declaration adds to the growing political realignments and conversations ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.
