Today, Engineer Aderemi Abass Oseni, the APC Senatorial Candidate for Oyo South, held a productive and impactful engagement with members of the Arewa Community in Awotan, Alapata and Apete.
During the meeting, Engineer Oseni addressed the community on the forthcoming general elections, emphasizing the importance of peaceful participation, unity and the responsible exercise of their civic rights. He urged residents to turn out in large numbers to vote for all APC candidates, while also ensuring that their votes are properly protected, counted and made to count.
In keeping with his commitment to grassroots engagement and community development, Engineer Oseni expressed his appreciation and support for the various groups represented at the meeting through financial donations totaling ₦8,000,000 (Eight Million Naira).
The donations were distributed as follows:
– ₦1,000,000 to the group that presented him with a branded souvenir.
– ₦2,500,000 to the Arewa Women.
– ₦2,500,000 to the Arewa Leaders.
– ₦1,000,000 to the Traditional Rulers present at the meeting.
– ₦1,000,000 to the Youths.
Total: ₦8,000,000 (Eight Million Naira).
This gesture further demonstrated Engineer Oseni’s commitment to inclusiveness, community engagement and grassroots development, irrespective of ethnic or religious differences.
The meeting was characterized by warmth, mutual respect and meaningful interaction. Members of the Arewa Community expressed their appreciation to the candidate for his generosity and continued engagement with the people at the grassroots.
Engineer Oseni reiterated his commitment to working with all communities across Oyo South Senatorial District and called for peace, unity and collective support for the APC family in the forthcoming elections.
